Food Industry Donations

Donors Benefit in Four Important Ways

  • Tax Benefits -As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, donations to Foodlink are tax deductible (IRS# 68-0275330)
  • No Liability -California law (Food & Agriculture Code 58505) holds donors harmless from liability should someone be injured by eating any of the donated food products
  • Positive Public Relations -Donating is good business. It generates publicity that is good for the donor and the agricultural, and food production and retail industries
  • No Hidden Charges - Foodlink provides bins, pallets and other supplies, relieving donors of any hidden costs.
